We are no longer viewed as hopeless dope fiends. There is hope and freedom from active addiction. My only hope is that someone can relate with my experiences and know that they are not alone. Put the spirit befor the personality. (principles before personalities) ... Even though I have not use any mood altlering mind changing, mood changing mind altering drugs in more than 24 years... I say I am an addict and my name is chris because it will help a newer member identify and possibly accept that they too can recover from the disease of addiction. Anonymity means we are all the same ... one fix away from jails instutions and death. The first one gives us a habit. The Answer is spiritual not chemical.
